1. Vogelsberger Metalnacht im Lauterbacher Crown am 6. September

August, 22nd 2014: Die zur Hälfte aus Alsfeld stammenden Neo-Thrash-Rabauken DIMELESS führen das Line-Up der ersten Vogelsberger Metalnacht am Samstag, 6. September, im Lauterbacher "Crown" an. Nachdem das Quartett um Victor Dewald (Gesang), Martin Neitzel (Gitarre) und die beiden Alsfelder Johannes Müller (Bass) und Anthony Flynn (Schlagzeug) im Juli ihr zweites Album "White Lion" veröffentlicht hat, eine Tournee durch vier europäische Länder erfolgreich absolvierte und Festivals wie das Metalfest Loreley spielte, steht nun ein Quasi-Heimspiel auf dem Vulkan an: Gemeinsam mit der Nürnberger Thrash-Institution ENTERA und den Death-Metal-Recken ATOMWINTER aus Göttingen laden DIMELESS zum gepflegten, spätsommerlichen Headbangen und Feiern ins Crown in Lauterbach ein.

Über die Bands:

DIMELESS zocken seit 2005 in begeisternden und energiegeladenen Liveshows brachiale und innovative Songs, die Elemente von Thrash- bis Doom-Metal beinhalten.  Ende 2007 erschien die EP „The Pill to swallow“, die bei  Fans und Kritikern einschlug. So schrieb der deutsche Metal Hammer: „Musik für die Autobahn ab 200 km/h“ und Uncle Sally*s: „Das hat Eier“. Das Album „Taste of the Upper Class“ erschien im April 2012 und überzeugte erneut auf ganzer Linie. Das Rock Hard sprach von „grandios gezockte(m) Groove-Thrash-Metal“ und schrieb: „Das neue Album zeichnet sich nicht nur durch fette Grooves der Pantera-/Machine Head-Kategorie, sondern auch durch das gelungene Songwriting und die Fertigkeiten der Musiker aus“. Es folgten weitere Konzerte und Supports für Gruppen wie „Napalm Death“, „Today forever“, „Milking the Goatmachine", „Lay Down Rotten“ und „Accuser“.

Im Frühjahr 2014 brütete das Quartett genussvoll neue thrashige Groove-Metal-Monster aus, die im Sommer auf dem Album "White Lion" via Noisehead Records weltweit losgelassen wurden. Das Legacy-Magazin schreibt: "Was die vier Jungs mit ihrem zweiten Longplayer abliefern, ist der Hammer! Thrash, Hard Rock (mit starkem Southern-Feeling), Heavy Blues, ein paar Stoner-Elemente und eine Riesenportion Groove verschmelzen mit kompaktem Sound zu abwechslungsreichen Songs, denen man die Reminiszenz an Pantera anmerkt (und die unverzüglich Lust auf einen kräftigen Schluck aus der Whisky-Flasche machen). "

Die Nürnberger Thrash Metal Band ENTERA spielt Old School Thrash im Stil von Annihilator, Slayer und Testament. Die 1990 gegründete Band hat bisher eine Single und vier CDs veröffentlicht. Bei über 240 Konzerten, unter anderem mit Destruction, Sabaton, Malevolent Creation, Hämatom, Master, Fleshless und Debauchery konnte die Band einiges an Live-Erfahrung sammeln und das Publikum überzeugen.

Fünf erfahrene Musiker aus Göttingen hoben 2010 ATOMWINTER aus der Taufe. Ihre im selben Jahr veröffentlichte EP schlug ein wie eine Atombombe und sorgte für reichlich aufsehen. Inspiriert von Bands wie Asphyx, Bolt Thrower und anderen geradliniegen Death-Metal-Bands, wechseln sich bei ATOMWINTER rohe und doomige Klänge mit thrashigen Hochgeschwindigkeitsparts ab. In 2012 veröffentlichten die Göttinger via Black Skull Records ihr erstes Album "Atomic Death Metal", mit dem sie ihren Siegeszug durch den Metal-Untergrund fortsetzten. Das deutsche Rock Hard kürte den Silberling gar zum Demo des Monats.

July 11th 2014: DIMELESS release their second album "White Lion" worldwide via Noisehead Records.

May 3rd, 2014: Die italienischen Symphonic-Metaller Minotauro, die für ihr Debut-Album "Master of the Sea" (DOTT/Sony) weltweit beste Kritiken erhielten, kommen im Juli 2014 erstmals für drei Konzerte nach Deutschland. Am 4. Juli rocken sie den Metalkeller Eisbär in Esslingen, bevor sie am 5. Juli im hessischen Gelnhausen auftreten. Am 6. Juli spielen Minotauro für ihre süddeutschen Fans in der Garage Deluxe in München auf - gemeinsam mit der deutschen Power-Thrash-Legende Squealer und den Lokalmatadoren Reverend Hound.

Im Gepäck haben Minotauro ihr von den Fachmedien hochgelobtes Debut-Album "Master of the sea". Den sechs Symphonic-Metallern aus Triest gelingt mit „Master Of The Sea“ ein opulentes Werk voll epischer Magie und stilistischer Vielfalt. Mit ihrem Mix aus traditionellem, melodischen Metal sowie Elementen aus der Klassik und Filmmusik schaffen Minotauro den Soundtrack zu ihren Fantasygeschichten, von Liedern über Hoffnung, Liebe, verderben und Tod.

„Master Of The Sea“ ist großes Kino, der Sound ist wuchtig, Keyboards, Chor und Orchester kommen breitflächig daher. Aber das Album klingt auch ungeheuer rockig mit mächtig wummernden Doublebasses und teilweise sogar etwas verspielt mit leicht vertrakten Arrangements und unerwarteten Breaks. Die Melange von Metal und Klassik geht bei Minotauro voll auf, „Master Of The Sea“ ließe sich sogar unter der Rubrik „Film Score Metal“ einordnen. Die Liste der Gastmusiker lässt aufhorchen: der Schwede Göran Edman (ex-Yngwie Malmsteen, Karmakanic u.a.) schafft sich gesanglich voll rein, Tom Naumann (Primal Fear, Sinner) und Bor Zuljan (Devil Doll u.a.) sorgen für fette Gitarrenwände. In Szene gesetzt hat das orchestrale Fantasy-Spektakel Achim Koehler, der auch schon für Kollegen wie Amon Amarth, Sodom oder Godiva an den Reglern schraubte.

April 5th, 2014: Die Neo-Trash-Rabauken Dimeless aus dem hessischen Gießen verbarrikadieren sich Ende April für drei Wochen im "Desert Inn"-Studio von Thilo Krieger (Lay Down Rotten, Milking the Goatmachine uva), um den Nachfolger ihres viel beachteten Debuts "Taste of the Upper Class" einzuspielen. Das neue Album erscheint Anfang Juli weltweit über das österreichische Label Noisehead Records, das den Vierer Anfang des Jahres unter Vertrag genommen hat. Feb 1st, 2014: Symphonic-Metal-Warriors Minotauro from Italy will celebrate their Live-Debut in Germany on Sat 5th of July at the "Metal meets Classic"-Festival in Gelnhausen near Frankfurt/Main. As special guest they share the stage with Acts like Lingua Mortis Orchestra feat. Rage and Haggard. „Master Of The Sea“ is the debut – album of the Italian Classic-influenced Progressive Power Metal band Minotauro incorporating classical music and baroque sounds in their unique and epic masterpieces. The album is very different using classical styles throughout the music rather than dividing the styles to seperate songs. Technically, “Master Of The Sea” checks all of the boxes. The guitar work (Roko Smailagic, Peter Pahor and Tom Naumann of Primal Fear/Sinner) is dazzling, Rudy Berginc’s and Göran Edman’s (ex-Yngwie Malmsteen, Karmakanic etc.) vocals are strong and powerful, and the production is pristine. The album was produced, mixed and mastered by Achim Köhler (Amon Amarth, Godiva, Kiske/Somerville a.m.m.) in his Indiscreet audio studios in Germany.

If you're an epic metal or Italian power metal fan, if you're a fan of symphonies present in your metal, if you enjoy Rhapsody of Fire but hated Triumph of Agony, if you enjoy innovative music in general, buy it! “Master Of The Sea” is one of those albums that will have such a diversity of fans, and along with that will come a huge range of opinions. Minotauro do not knock many new walls down on their debut, but they do still, nonetheless, come up with a winner of an album, one mighty tasty symphonic/neo-classical/progressive/speed/power metal milkshake.

Jan 20th, 2014: Dimeless were signed by Noisheadrecords (Austria) and will release their second album in summer 2014 worldwide. Dimeless, who arrested attention by several labels with their first demo-songs of forthcoming album released in summer 2014 made their decision for Noiseheadrecords with a big smile on their faces: "We have a masterplan that has been welcomed by the Noisehead-Team after our first contact and they brought in their own great ideas very fast and we liked it. We will work together perfect! Now we are looking forward happily to a very exciting year 2014 with a lot to come. It's great to be well supported by a experienced and well-respected worldwide operating label."

About Dimeless: Dimeless are a German Groove/Thrash metal band from the university town Gießen. Founded in 2005, Dimeless’ main goals are energetic live-shows, as well as groove metal based brute and innovative songs. In 2007, Dimeless published their first EP named “The Pill To Swallow”. Fans and critics were thrilled by the EP equally. Metalhammer e.g. stated: “Music for the autobahn from 120mph onwards“ and Uncle-Sally’s: “This music has balls.” Resulting from this great response Dimeless started playing gigs all over Germany. Among others they have played in Berlin, Frankfurt, Bamberg, Erlangen and Iserlohn, including gigs with well known bands as “Born from Pain”, “Tankard”, “Japanische Kampfhörspiele” and “Die Happy”. In 2009 Dimeless participated in the well-respected band contest Emergenza. Due to their fantastic results in the preliminary rounds, they made it into the finals playing in front of 1200 people in the fully packed out Batschkapp in Frankfurt. Due to the audience vote Dimeless finished second in the middle Germany final! This was a great success and a result from sweat-inducing performances. 

As well as the first release “The pill to swallow“ the new album ”Taste of the upper class” received positive critics by numerous music magazines. For example Metal Hammer quoted “Twelve good reasons […] for such a vulgar bashing” and Rock Hard wrote “[..] brilliantly played groove-thrash metal”. Following the successful release gigs and support shows were played with bands like “Napalm Death”, “Today forever”, “Milking the Goatmachine”, “Lay Down Rotten” and “Accuser”. 

Currently the quartette is working on new groove-metal-monsters, which will be unleashed in summer of 2014 via Noisehead Records on an unsuspecting world. At the same time Dimeless are planning to play as many gigs as possible, so be prepared and watch out for regular Gig-news!!
